A poem about nothing..

Upon the starry sky,
The moon so far yet so nigh,
Hearing the distant rumble of traffic,
And the watchman tapping his stick.

I reminiscence about the past,
Dream about the future,
While time flies,
And midnight passes by.

I love this drama called life,
Where events are less predictable than a game of dice,
One minute you want to finish with a life so boring and dry,
The next, you wish the time wouldn't just fly by.

Rambling on and on,
My eyelids droop and I let out a yawn,
I let myself feel good for all the lines I've written,
And even forgive all the mosquitoes that have bitten.

I close the balcony door,
And lie flat on the floor,
For life is too short to dream under moonlight,
When I could sleep on it the whole night.

Goodnight!
